Nuge'i MeMoed - those who mourn for the appointed festival(Moed)
How could we sing YHVH’s song in a foreign land?
If I forget you, Jerusalem,
let my right hand forget how to play the lyre.
Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth
if I don’t remember you,
if I don’t consider Jerusalem my highest joy.
Psalm 137:4-6 (Names of God Bible (NOG))
Do not be like your fathers and brothers who were unfaithful to YHVH, the Elohim of their fathers, so that He made them an object of horror, as you can see.
Now do not stiffen your necks as your fathers did.
Submit to YHVH and come to His sanctuary, which He has consecrated forever.
Serve YHVH your Elohim, so that His fierce anger will turn away from you.
For if you return to YHVH, your brothers and sons will receive mercy in the presence of their captors and will return to this land.
For YHVH your Elohim is gracious and merciful; He will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.
