I'm a yarn and fiber lover, making my way though life by making things. I love yarn, knitting, crochet, dyeing projects, spinning, weaving, and have been basically taken over by the fiber bug. I'm really in love with complex fairisle knits, but I travel in and out of many other making phases.

My name is inspired by a quote from Moby Dick:
“O Nature, and O soul of man! how far beyond all utterance are your linked analogies; not the smallest atom stirs or lives on matter, but has its cunning duplicate in mind.”

It makes me think about how making is an expression of my soul and the creative process of creating little atoms of mind.
