I try to collect as much sheet music as I can. (Rant:) I usually have to special order (from music shops) new releases of album songbooks of my favorite artists' albums/CDs. Unfortunately, the only 2 companies that print/distribute/publish sheet music (i.e. Hal Leonard & Alfred) don't always publish album songbooks for all the CDs I have, which is really a bummer sometimes and almost makes me want to not buy from them. But since they hold a monopoly on the sheet music publications (Hal Leonard way more than Alfred), I'm forced to buy their books. And since it's kind of pointless for just 1 person (or more if they share the same feelings that I do) to request a songbook from them, I have to accept the fact that I'll never be able to buy all the songs that I want in sheet music form.
I also go to book fairs as much as I can to buy old/vintage/out-of-print songbooks.
