"It looks like you land on your Heel First". This is usually the comment of a random observer who has a lack of understanding of the concept, or is determined to play a gotcha game of "observation".
These pictures are of a pair of Merrell's Vapor Glove 5, That I wore for the past year during Firefighter Academy. Take note of the wear pattern, this is the difference between "It Looks Like..." and "What is."
You will notice that the wear is more pronounced on the outside edge (The Fifth Tuberosity), which is almost located in the middle of the foot, with little, to no wear on the Heels.
Again, this has been an instruction provided in almost every video I have uploaded in regards to walking.
I actually "Walk the Talk", because of it's effectiveness and benefits in posture and athletic movement.
