Freddie Paull, originally from the United Kingdom, is the founding member of Electric Legend Pictures, a Phoenix based collective of audio/visual artists specializing in music video and feature film production. Founded in 2009, Electric Legend has been at the forefront of Arizona's recent underground art explosion, having videos featured on Time Magazine, Hipster Runoff, Phoenix New Times, along with over 100 other online publications. In the early days of Electric Legend, Freddie Paull's guerrilla-style approach to film-making and PR landed him in hot water when the band Warpaint attempted to sue him for creating a music video for one of their songs without their permission. The video was taken down from virtually every website, but thanks to loyal fans, pirated versions can still be found online. These days, Freddie and his team do official videos, but occasionally they go back to their roots by creating professional fan videos for their favorite bands.
