Jonathan Lee Pratt, professionally known as JZyNO, is the first artiste out of Liberia to have a global hit. Born and raised in Liberia, but based in Ghana.
JZyNO launched his professional career in 2019, In 2020, he gained fame in Liberia and became the first new artist to receive five nominations for his song 'Kpan Kpan Me,' which featured his former label mate Teddyride, shortly after releasing the hit single.
He released his first debut EP, The Brown Sugar EP, collaborated with artists like Krymi, Nedy Music, Epixode, Medikal and a few others in 2021 and 2022, despite facing delays and struggles as an independent artist.
In early April 2023, JZyNO released his hit single 'Butta My Bread', featuring Lasmid, which accumulated over 200 million streams across all platforms. The song became a chart-topper, entering the US Billboard Top 50 Afrobeats songs and UK Top 20 chart. It was also played at the NBA finals and during Barcelona’s Champions League opening match against Monaco.
