Dr. Mark Bishop is Professor of Cognitive Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London, UK. He is also currently Chair of the society for the study of Artificial Intelligence and the Simulation of Behaviour (the AISB).
At work he is very interested in Artificial Intelligence; Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence; Cognitive Science and Cognitive Computing; Enactivism and Radical Enactivism; The Turing test; John Searle's Chinese room argument; Swarm Intelligence and Stochastic Diffusion Processess.
Out of work he enjoys music: old school rock; folk and electronic dance music and particularly enjoys indulging in these passions at music festivals such as Glastonbury and Cropredy.
