I was born in Ft Dodge Iowa, December 2, 1983
My parents, are second generation agribusiness suppliers that specialized in farm drainage construction. As the older of two brothers, I grew up on a farm in rural Iowa.
I was diagnosed at age 6 with Wilms' tumor, an extremely rare cancer of the kidneys that typically occurs in children.Surgeons in Iowa City removed my right kidney. That extended stay in the hospital and the subsequent years to full recovery had a profound effect on my outlook on life. My mom Loni, always says that after beating the cancer I have always lived life to the fullest by looking for new things to do. I will travel the entire world I will seek all the thrills I will dive to the deepest depths of the ocean, jump from planes and hopefully capture some of it on film!
