On 13th November, 1996, Swami Rama left his mortal body (mahasamadhi) on the premises of the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust. Swami Rama Centre (SRC) developed out of the physical location of Swami Rama's mahasamadhi. Inspired to preserve the memory and teachings of the Himalayan master Swami Rama, SRC is dedicated to the preservation of his lectures, writings, research, art, music, and tradition. The compilation and publication of unpublished materials is a primary focus of the center.
