My name Proclaim stands for free expression, free speech and free thought of my mind, body, and soul. I am an alternative hip-hop music artist from East Los Angeles, California. Growing in the 90’s I was a part of gang culture but after many ups and downs I am glad to have made it out alive. Music has always been a big part of my life. I have been greatly inspired by both west and east coast hip hop over the years. While in college I started writing my own verses and producing my own beats. I'm not sure where music will lead me but my aim is to take hip-hop in a positive, cathartic, and overall therapeutic direction. Join my tribe and come on the journey with me!
