Taking its name from Nazım Hikmet's poem of the same name, Yalnayak is inspired by Anatolian melodies and tells its stories with a psychedelic space-funk / rock fusion. The unique sound of the Istanbul-based band has emerged by combining the warm vocals of Damla Temel, the electronic arrangements of Netam, the bouncing bass grooves of Batuhan Camci and the funky guitar riffs of Semih Duz.

In 2022, The band released Binboğa in memory of Barış Manço and it was added to Spotify's Global Groove playlist. In this way, Yalnayak reached listeners from all over the world. The band, recently shared their last single “Bıraktığın Yerden" and now is set to release their debut album, "Ayıp Olmasın," on March 1st.
