Auditory Processing Disorder seems like a large, looming difficulty when a person hasn't dealt with it on a personal and professional level. I'm Angela Alexander, Doctor of Audiology, and I've been privileged to work in this specialty for more than a decade. When I evaluate auditory processing and uncover significant difficulties, I see potential and hope. Why's this? Because I don't just test for APD, I have also been working with APD therapy. It is easy for me to anticipate what might improve in a person's life through therapy since I have seen it occur so often in my own clinic. I want to help others have a new perspective on APD through the storytelling of case studies and other video content.
