It's Never Too Late... This should be EVERYONE'S theme in life! Deej (aka Dave Lowe) started learning lead guitar in the year 2010 on his 50th birthday. Working on the 10,000 hour rule, which basically says that if you do ANYTHING for ten thousand hours, you will be an expert at it... "I'm probably at about 7,000 hours now (May 2016 at the creation of this channel) and I know I've got a ways to go to reach my goal - which is to be "The oldest geezer to start playing like Steve Vai" - Do I believe it's possible? Heck yeah! I must have some 'artsy' thing in me because I don't seem to have ANY interest in learning someone else's songs... or maybe I'm just too lazy... but I LOVE to just put my emotion into what I'm doing and create something that is my own! I'm sure there will be influences in there and that is fine because we are all a sum of our influences with a some unique flare mixed in... blah blah blah... yada yada yada... Shut up and play Deej!!!
