The Flame Trench

The Flame Trench is a group of amateur and professional electronic and mechanical engineers, students, teachers and others from both Britain and the United States, working in aerospace and related industries.

Between us we have experience in high power rocketry, active stability and guidance, scientific instrument development, solid and hybrid rocket engines, cubesats, particle physics, software engineering, videography, teaching, piloting, HAM radio, STEM outreach, and more.

We are currently working on two collaborative flagship projects: TFTqube, a pocketqube satellite; and Perihelion, an experimental high powered rocket. We are also in the process of building a robotic, remotely accessible amateur observatory.
