CP (Chris) Lee (1950-2020)
This Hotun channel was set up in 2006 to display much of Chris's own output, some material routes he either fashioned or was influenced by and sundry other stuff that he liked.
A talented artist of all kinds, Chris was a man of many parts - he performed in various bands before and after Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias, he reprised Lord Buckley, he gained a PhD in Manchester Music Making and was a Writer, Comedian, Broadcaster and Lecturer in Music and Comedy at the University of Salford.
Chris ran a website dedicated to Frank Randle and the Mancunian Film Co - www.itsahotun.com - and hosted The Cuthbert Club, a film club in Manchester City Centre venues (pubs!), introducing the Feature films & Variety shorts himself as Cuthbert, often in various guises and always to hilarious effect. Many were videoed and are uploaded.
Terribly missed since his sudden death in 25 July 2020 - may his name continue to be spoken by others and not forgotten.
