Active professionally since 2016, Nigerian singer/songwriter Cyfa birthed his unique style from a blend of Afro-Beat, Pop,Fuji, Soul and more.
Cyfa was born Oki Richard Oluwagbemiga in the Benue State region of Nigeria in the mid 90s but hails from the West, Ondo State. He began recording his own songs at his early teenage years, became familiar with the Fuji sound as a result of constant play by his father, sunk deeply in love with sounds from Frank Edwards, Brymo, M.I Abaga,2face Idibia as well as other African artistes. He was inspired and got the guts he needed to make music after listening to Wizkid in 2012.
Today he makes music with universal themes such as love, trust, hate, betrayal, leadership, war etc. He remains anchored in his Christian faith and ultimately propagating Jesus.
