I've been crafting since a toddler and have learned many techniques along the way. As a kid, all we had was construction paper, pipe cleaners, white glue and scissors, and yet we created amazing "treasures". This started the love affair of the feel of paper between my fingers and the sound of the scissors cutting that paper!!! Today we have so many tools available to accomplish some amazing art work, and sometimes this can add stress as we strive for perfection. Although I appreciate all the work that goes into detail art works, and I do alot of that myself, this is NOT what my channel is about. It is about the simple joy of creating something from simple household items, giving yourself permission to be imperfect, to embrace your "OOPS" (as my friend Carolyn Dube says).
