TIP OF THE MONTH:
when comparing scorers, you must always look at fg%. All of the great scorers in the history of the game, (even the outside shooters like Larry Bird and Reggie Miller) were able to shoot 50% or better in their prime. Guys like Iverson and Kobe have never shot over 47% for an entire season. Iverson and Kobe are great, just not as great as some of the legends... You must always keep in mind fg% when comparing scorers. Especially scorers who score in the flow of the team game vs the ones who don't. It's interesting enough that fg% usually separates the same two group of players.
