Wail of a Tale is not a typical Media company. We are a humanitarian driven 501c3 nonprofit organization. We explore the social and political determinants of health and engage viewers with stories that amplify the voices of women, racialized, and disparaged communities. We view documentary filmmaking as a tool to educate students, organizations, the public, and lawmakers on social justice issues. We provide hope and inspire concrete actions to improve lives. We produce waves for social change.
One interviewee reflects, "Marty has been with me from the very beginning of my journey—checking in, showing genuine concern, and being a steady presence through the ups and downs. She's not just a filmmaker; she's someone who truly listens and cares about what's happening to people." This deep trust allows Wail of a Tale Productions to tell stories with authenticity and heart, capturing the raw emotions and resilience of marginalized communities.
