Dark Globe gained prominence after being signed by Leftfield to their Hard Hands label. They've since released their distinctive digital funk on A&M Records, Warners, W9Y, GU, and Universal/Island Records, following the success of their hit "Break My World."
Along the way, their filthy breakbeat funk has soundtracked ‘Lara Croft: The Cradle of Life’, produced and performed the music for the Versace Autumn collection in Milan, they’ve delivered inspired remixes for the likes of George Clinton, Bush, Orbital, Black Grape, Imogen Heap, Two Lone Swordsmen, Smudge All Stars & Boy George and if you profess to know your dance music history then you’ll know that Dark Globe are responsible for making the first ever breakbeat record, ‘Mondo Scuro’.

Frost and Diggens released a stream of vinyl from 1993-1996 on own imprint Violent Drum and finished when Matt and Pete were discovered by Andrew Weatherall at Sabresonic which led them to sign to Leftfield’s Hard Hands label in 1997 as Dark Globe.
