I got started when I was 17 years old, going to university while selling snow cones on weekends at sports clubs and schools in Australia. I struggled to create a consistent, predictable income for myself in that business. I spent 8 years getting nowhere.
I started a marketing agency using what I knew from my first business, but I struggled to get clients.
I thought surely there's a way to get clients to come to me instead of me chasing them, and then one day I figured it out. Over the next 5 years people and companies like Amazon, HubSpot, Shopify, Drift, and Noah Kagan all started approaching me to help grow their businesses.
