Music that follows the Old Norse path


Vígundr is an Old Norse music creation by Mary Anlezark.

In the making since 2018, her first album : Siðr : debuted this year in 2024.

The name 'Vígundr' in it's simplest meaning translates to 'temple of battle' in a heathen sense.

Vigundr aims to raise the levels of vibration from deep within, so that you may feel deeply connected with what was, and feel a primal connection to nature, our ancestors and to spirit.

Using the Old Norse language, a variety of vocalization and powerful drums, Vígundr aims to remind us that music is a portal to the infinite- and that we all have a connection to it.
