Huerta is at the vanguard of the house music underground. For the last decade, the LA-born, Berlin-based artist has been refining a deep, groove-based sound where old school tech house funk meets lush technicolor sound design. With releases on esteemed labels, like Slow Life, SlapFunk, and Small Hours, as well as his own Leizure, his records have become buy-on-site for those who like their house sunkissed and swung. Huerta is also a hugely in-demand DJ known for his bag of dusty, under-the-radar digs, and custom tailored edits. In a clubland landscape saturated with sameness, Huerta remains a singular figure.
