My fascination with puzzle canons first came from examining those by JS Bach, and by exploring canonic writing through my own composition. This in turn led to searching for other composers who have been creative with symmetrical structures and puzzle canons. My research has led me to want to share what I have found.
I'm interested in hearing from you, and learning what you think works and what doesn't–what you like best and even what you don't.
My website—puzzlecanon.com—gets into a little more detail about topics related to the history of these pieces and sometimes about the canons themselves, though I do not include any of my own music on puzzlecanon.com.
