Biography

Fled The Southwest is a metal band from Joplin, MO that started in June of 2012. Originating as a local band known as One Shall Betray, the band sought out a new style, a new sound, and a new live performance to bring to their fans. After picking up a new drummer and bassist the band went straight to writing. Over the course of the Summer the band had written a solid setlist and recorded a single through Zombielife Recording Sudio and were ready to start playing shows again. The band's single, "Heartbreaker," was released on September 11th of 2012 and immediately received a massive amount of positive feedback. Three days later on the 14th, Fled The Southwest had their "coming back show," with other great bands, a great turn out, and a great way to kick things off. Fled The Southwest is still writing and playing shows and they don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
