Manfred Dikkers
Manfred Dikkers is a musician from the Netherlands. His passion for music began at a young age, and he soon started drumming in rock cover bands. At the end of the 90s he started using electronic drums, which opened new opportunities for international music collaborations with artists such as Grega Habic, Exivious, Alan Goldstein, Santiago Dobles, I Am The Only Rewind Songbird, The Kolios Project and Celestial Serenity. Manfred is a regular member of At War With Self, the project conceived by multi-instrumentalist Glenn Snelwar. He is mostly active as jazz drummer in bigbands and in combo and session settings (Midnight Jazz Express, Jazz@the Crow, The Mellowtones,...). He also studies bass guitar and other instruments such as the hammered dulcimer. Manfred combines technicality, craft and creativity in his work as design engineer in the high tech industry, and is a devoted husband and father.
