Aja a solo project from Clémence Quélennec
After 8 years on the road with the band “La Femme”, Clémence decided to go to Morocco with her lover. Together they found a secluded house with a small garden in the middle of the mountains where she could embrace the solitude, recharge her batteries in nature and reconnect with her inner self. Her first idea was to create a vegetable garden but despite the joy of seeing the first green shoots, she ultimately only harvested a handful of tiny vegetables. Discovering Ableton at the same time, and facing the failure of the garden, she finally embarked on a solo musical project with her computer, her keyboard and sounds of nature around her, which inspired enchanting, trippy and luminous melodies. In 2019 her first EP, "Solitaire" was released and since then She has been focusing on composing a second EP, as well as establishing a YouTube channel called "Ajasphère" where she regularly posts atmospheric and hypnotic tracks.
