David Ciente is an independent artist seeking to bring ancient culture and electronic music together.
After a decade of producing successful songs for huge artists like INNA, Selena Gomez, and Pitbull, David Ciente has now set sails for uncharted territory, digging deep into the ancient Romanian culture.
Born and raised in the legendary Transylvania, David Ciente starts his new project focusing on the life, art, music and traditions of his Romanian ancestors. The project will aim to find and preserve remaining bits of ancient heritage, before they go extinct.
This new project was released in 2022, as the song "Ielele" featuring the talented Irina Rimes went viral from day one. In the same year, David Ciente performed his first full live set at Untold Festival in August 2022, playing yet unreleased songs from his new project.
For now, David Ciente will be releasing new songs and videos, using elements inspired by Romanian traditions, art, poetry, even crafting. Stay tuned!
