Buffalo Music Archive is dedicated to preserving Western New York's rich musical heritage and introducing new listeners to independent music they might otherwise never discover.
For several years I produced a regional music television show in Western New York, and received hundreds of CDs, cassettes and LPs from independent bands and musicians. Sadly, many of those artists have faded into obscurity, all but forgotten. But music lives forever, and these recordings are a treasure of amazing talent waiting to be (re)discovered.
All music on this channel is posted to raise awareness of and appreciation for independent artists. Wherever possible I have included links to artist websites or directed listeners where to purchase CDs or mp3s. I receive no financial benefit from this channel.
