Shibari is a phrase that means to tie decoratively. Also known as a kinbaku, it is the contemporary art of Japanese rope bondage. By combining together basic knots and easy patterns, a rigger is able to construct a bondage restraint that is functional, ephemeral, and beautiful all that the same time.
How to tie Shibari is a series of video guides produced by myself to teach and promote this style of art to the world at large. My driving philosophy is to keep instructions straightforward and simple with a strong belief in "Show don't tell". Join me as I share what I know and together we can advance Shibari to new levels.
