End the wars. End the lies. End The Federal Reserve.
Ron Paul 2012
The Golden Rule as seen by various political ideologies:
Libertarians: Do unto others as as they have voluntarily consented to via contract.
Progressives and Social Democrats: Make others, give unto others, what you would have given unto you.
Social Conservatives: Do unto yourself, only what you would do, if I were you.
Neoconservatives: Do unto others, then act surprised when they do unto you.
Centrist Fence Sitters: Do unto others, what 51% of others say to do.
There is no freedom without peace.
'No man's life, liberty, or property is safe, while Congress is in session.'
- Mark Twain
"If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals—if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is." - Ronald Reagan
"Emergency does not create power. Emergency does not increase granted power or remove or diminish the restrictions imposed upon power granted or reserved. The Constitution
was adopted in a period of grave emergency. Its grants of power to the federal government and its limitations of the power of the States were determined in the light of emergency, and they are not altered by emergency."
-Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes
The argument for liberty is not an argument against organization, which is one of the most powerful means that human reason can employ, but an argument against all exclusive, privileged, monopolistic organization, against the use of coercion to prevent others from trying to do better. Every organization is based on given knowledge; organization means a commitment to a particular aim and to particular methods, but even organization designed to increase knowledge will effective insofar as the knowledge and beliefs on which it's design rests are true. And if any of the facts contradict the beliefs on which the structure is based, this will become evident by it's failure and supercession by a different type of organization. Organization is therefore likely to be beneficial and effective so long as it is voluntary and is embedded in a free sphere and will
