Since live music happens in public venues with lots of potential for unwanted noise, visual interference and other hitches affecting both audio and video quality; therein lies the challenge.
Trying to capture quality audio and video which does justice to the work of leading artists and musicians is always a sobering learning experience.
One of the perks of reviewing/editing worthwhile footage, is that one often hears and sees things missed during the real-time performance (as someone in the audience). For example, we're all familiar with the experience of picking up something new or different when we revisit a favorite movie, book, or place. Lastly, as a creator of content, you become much more aware and appreciative of what goes into the making of quality mainstream production when you see it.
