Dan Hoffman
LaundryBoat Media was founded by Daniel Forrest Hoffman. He brings a background in sculpture ad drawing to the field of animation. Different team members are regularly tapped to participate on projects. In this way LaundryBoat Media becomes a hub for creative minds to collaborate on projects. The name "LaundryBoat" come from that intention.
In Paris during the Avante Garde movement, many ground breaking artists lived and worked in a building together. Pablo Picasso, Juan Gris, Jacques Lipchitz, just to name a few,helped make the "Bateau Lavoir" building a hub of creativity and collaboration. "Bateau Lavoir" translated to Laundry Boat. In choosing this name we hope to constantly approach each project with a mind towards collaboration and creativity.
