This channel is devoted to Australia's pop show Countdown (1974-1987). On this channel I will be featuring mostly extremely rare Countdown clips from missing 1970s Countdown episodes that were wiped from ABC. I source this material from vintage off the air videotape recordings made back in the 1970s by those who could afford or have access to a video recorder back in the 70s and have recorded Countdown on it.
Note: I understand the copyright of these videos belong to the original copyright holders and my only intention of uploading these videos is purely to share this wonderful footage I find on vintage video recordings I come across for the world to see and enjoy. I will of course remove any video if requested by the copyright holder.
