Hi, I am Rin. I've been enjoying editing majorly BL drama videos lately.
More than editing, I like to convey visual stories with matching lyrics ♪
Although I still have much to learn, and program to upgrade eventually.
I do hope to make some proper content in FMV worth. Enjoy (o゜▽゜)o☆

It's a wrap. My Stand-In is over and out.
But I still have edits of them to upload soon. 💃

Did you like the ending? What do you think of the final episode?

Ngl am still 😡 about Tong's lame redemption. He better be thankful to that baby of his for saving him more than once out of responsibilities and money troubles. Am glad Joe finally gets some recognition and his name in the credits, but the cycle of being a stand-in is still on. It is what he chose, the same thing in the end 🙄 he is always a secret stand-in of his new body, and only a few people know about who he really is, the other reminisce or compare this Joe of now to the other Joe they knew, his old self no less. Even though it's great for him to know how appreciated he truly was before. For once I wished he would prioritize himself, follow the light and find peace of mind. But it wouldn't be Joe, if he did not chose to stay with Ming all over again. If he finds his peace of mind like this so be it. Ming actually worked for a believable redemption, unlike Tong 🙄 but the whole episode felt straight out of a Disney movie, many kumbayas and merry endings, 'cause suddenly everyone is so understanding, guilty, redeemable, or has a fated partner. POS turning soft and making promises. Money solving everything. 🤨🤡🙄

WHY? 😫

This series started with a bang and ended with a 🤧

Disappointed but not surprised, to the changes they made.
Overall it's not a bad series. 😌 A frustrating one, most definitely.
The best part of all were Up and Poom. I 💗 them. Need them in another series.

Are you all following My Stand-In? What are your thoughts so far, into the finale coming next week?
This was my exact expression after seeing yesterday's episode... and how much they changed things.

Don't get me wrong the series is good, the cast is great, the acting is top. Whoever wrote script does not understand us general audiences though. Because if they did why on EARTH would they try to give Tong a redemption arc? Was it to tone down his arrogant front just to show that Ming's father is the Big Boss now? 🤨 Makes no sense tbh.

We did not asked for a redemption on his behalf. We did not need one either. Boy I am so mad. 😡 Frustrated to say the very least. Why is Tong walking right there all rent free after everything he has done and acting NOW with a kind of guilty conscious which I and we all know he has NONE of. 🤬 He does not deserve any sort of redemption whatsoever! Not after all the BS he has done for years and 11 episodes! No, that spot is already currently occupied by Ming. 🙄 There are no more vacancies left in this absolute train wreck, and definitely not for the likes of Tong anyway. He was acting so out of character in this episode, as if we did not see an arrogant, narcissistic, selfish person for a total of 10 episodes. Suddenly he does 180º and we have to buy this? Nah huh, not me. 😑

*the need to rand and vent never felt so real*

All we ever wanted was to see Tong ruined, for him to properly pay for his shady deeds. To be outed as the fraud he is and can be, and be on the black list of the industry like poor Joe was before and because of Tong of all people... After all, publicly shame would be Tong's worst fear to face. A divorce would be nice too, but not request by HIM. May should be the one to leave him, since they did her so nice in the show. Instead they make him use his unborn baby as a leverage more than once, not only to escape his faults but to convince poor Joe, which is an orphan to help him out. Of course, Joe being the most selfless person ever would surely help him out. 🙄 Help the same guy who was mostly responsible for his ruin that led him to lose his life. Joe is clearly not the sharpest crayon of the 🌈 and he is too much of a softy for any kind of revenge (sadly), that he placed himself constantly on a loop of events that not only resulted on him becoming a stand-in in so many ways and form, but that led to his fall once again.

The first time being an accident, the second a noble sacrifice in the name of love. (not for Tong, ew, but for Ming) No wonder he is tired, but guess what 🤨 so am I. And everyone watching this. It's hard to defend someone who acts like this. 😫 Glad he is given the choice of staying or letting all go. I am all up for rooting for Joe to chose to rest and let it all go, to be selfish for once, and not be trapped in a cycle to be someone else's stand-in. He has suffered enough for two lifetimes already. Give him a break. It's clear him and Ming are endgame, so guess who is gonna wake up next episode, either by hearing Ming's voice or witnessing mad glimpses of Ming's grief for the past couple of years since original Joe was gone. YES because that preview for next week seem like Ming's pov. He said so himself, when Joe was gone he was a mess, he let the loft become a mess too, until he realized that if Joe was to return home one day he would have wanted to see all his belongings like they were and so he kept it all intact.

I have to admit that Ming tried harder at his redemption than most would. His dad is stubborn and too prideful, to care for his family, but Ming still chose what makes him happier and fulfilled. And it's not his wealth. But the one and only Joe. Well done Ming 👏 to think I would be right here praising Ming 🤣 ikr even I am surprised at that.

Joe is the most consistent character in this plot though. 😌 He needs to make the same mistakes more than once, because he never learns. 🤣 Holy Joe, savior of all pricks, benevolent tiring soul, that easily forgives those who have wronged him in his previous life, in this present one too, but hopefully not in the next. 🙌

Hii 🥲 I know, I know... I've been MiA lately 💃
Not only that but late on edits too. (nothing new 🤪)

I'm so sorry, I will try to step-up and get back on track, I promise.

There's been a LOT of drama in BLs lately. Ships dissolving, upcoming series left in uncertainty, also a lot of new releases and certainly many promising series. One of those I am quite curious on how will they pull out is this one: The Next Prince. The new project for ZeeNunew. Ngl, this setting looks absolutely stunning and beautiful, the outfits the vibes, and the fact that is a novelty theme within Thai Bls is what is pulling me in. Naturally, I HAD to make an edit out of this, even if all I have for now is an official pilot trailer and a teaser that was released like a year ago. 😌

Expect me to drop this one real soon. ✅

I CAN'T believe it's over. We made it 🌻
What are your thoughts on this FINALE?

Satisfied with this ending?
Still upset over last week's episode?
Or did you all wanted Mok to catch the flight?

Honestly I LIKED it. I did 😌 despite everything it was a healing journey. I mean Day was unfair using the pity card to accuse Mok, when from my perspective what overcome Mok at the time was the constant fear of failing to be there and protect someone close to him and whom he loved like he did with Rung. He never overcame it or had help with his trauma at all too. While Day had plenty of people beside him to support him in his dark periods, Mok had hardly anyone other than Porjai and even she left after having Mee to her mother's house. To have no one and be so unfairly hurt only to accept a job offer and not regret it in the future felt lacking... They could have had an adult conversation right there and then and NOT 3 years later. Then again Day made it always about him, and even us the viewers focused on him and forgot how much Mok was struggling too until episode 11 hit us like a storm. So yeah, Mok had nothing to apologize for, although I get it that in Day's situation or any other no one likes to be pitied on. Mok always sought his best to understand and support Day in everything he wanted to do, and he always did his job right as a caregiver. He had no filters, he gave Day back his autonomy, confidence, and freedom, which many failed to do. 🤨 So, to have Mok being accused of pitying him was unfair and uncalled for as much as him apologizing for it. The only highlight that helped on this was the fact that Day realized his constant mistakes and put his pride on the side to be the one asking for a second chance, because let's face it, deep down inside he knows Mok deserves better and has been trying with all his might, so why shouldn't Day do the same now if he really wants a chance?

They both completely changed each other's lives and had a healing journey 🌻💗

PS: it's funny but I had a few theories, one of them was that Day would eventually open up a bookshop in the future, where they would possibly meet again after a break and time skip. I got that one right 🤣 Can't help it. I felt a 1000 stars vibe with this, as one of P'Aof work's patterns. He never disappoints. His cameo was Golden smooth. Jimmy and Sea did an outstanding job on their roles, and so did the rest of the cast and the production team on everything.

💗🌻 What a beautiful, emotional, and healing journey this was. 🌻😌
