KL-based synthwave duo Stellar Dreams comprising of Iqwan Ridzuwan (Jake) and Khairil Shah has already been making waves in the European scene with their brand of the 80s disco revivalism in darker shades mixed with a delicious blend of the smooth synthwave. Forming back in 2012, with humble beginnings of making music in a dingy bedroom studio and the need to break free from the mainstream media in Malaysia, this duo with a musical bond that spans over four years and running, saw their hit when their début single, 'Nightvoid' was released and caught the attention of indie German label, ‘Kiez Beats’ and the hauntingly emotive track begins to get more airplay in Europe. Its sound pierces through the night, conjuring the loneliness of the open road; making it an overnight sensation, a true night driving anthem.
