It all starts with his patented three-point inspection. First, Carl figures out the kind of vehicle before him by matching it to the options on his car wash dashboard – is it a truck, a spaceship, or submarine? Then, he examines the level of mess – a little messy, medium, or super duper messy? Once Carl sets the mess-o-meter, he takes a closer look at the kind of mess, and gets a little dirty himself! Is it rotten fish, strawberry jam, or mustardy mustard covering the vehicle? With a little touch or sniff, Carl can figure it out. Finally, it’s time to get the car wash fired up!
