Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana, J-S.A.N.D. is an artist known for his thought-provoking lyricism, hard-hitting production, and witty wordplay. J-S.A.N.D. is also a producer, graphic designer, director, & film editor. J-S.A.N.D. also has worked with and received many co-signs from legendary artists such as LL COOL J, solidifying him as one of the most promising rising talents of his generation.
J-S.A.N.D. started producing at age 7 and rapping at age 9. Between 2012 – 2021, while he was in middle school and and through college, he release a number of majority self-produced singles, mixtapes, and music videos that allowed him to garner a lot of attention & catch the eyes of many notable Hip-Hop figures across various social media outlets. In 2021, he was discovered by Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest and from there, got the opportunity to feature on and and co-producing “The Vow” on LL Cool J’s 2024 LP, “The FORCE,” executive produced by Q-Tip.
