40th Anniversary - Performances of Dick Cully and his Big Band which has achieved uncommon success (without major management) since it's formation in February of 1982 and whose "A" list of sidemen have included alumni from the bands of Count Basie, Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, Harry James, Glenn Miller, Jaco Pastorius, Harry Connick Jr., Christopher Riddle, Buddy Morrow, the Airmen of Note, the Norad Band (just to mention a few) and pop acts including Gloria Estafan and the Miami Sound Machine, Julio Iglesias and Blood, Sweat and Tears as well as icons such as: Sinatra, Bennett, Torme, Ella and countless others. The (20+) years of success of this band was due to an appealing library and a assortment of talented musicians.
