INNVOID
INNVOID is a Progressive/Experimental metal band from Barcelona, born in 2014. The founder members, Marc Ferrer (guitars) & Sergi Baldoví (drums) were working on it as a lab/spare time project until they decided to make it official, and worked together to find the rest of the band members. First came Denis Fernández (bass), few months later Raúl Suitino (guitars) and finally Ignasi Subirachs (vocals), who joined the band recently.
We like to use music -and the natural way of expression it provides- as a means to philosophical and existential exploration, trying to synthesize music, feelings and the search for knowledge (and also fun!) in one sole concept. This is why our influences are such great bands as Meshuggah, The Contortionist, Leprous, DT Project, Opeth, Tesseract, Haken, Gojira…
Our first work is called "Hypophenomena", a studio EP produced and mixed by ourselves and mastered by the great Jens Bogren (Fascination Street Studios, SE).
