LG Choir
We are an amateur choir specialising in the polyphony and plainchant of the Roman Catholic church. Our home is the lovely church of Our Lady, in St John's Wood, London.
Our members come from around the UK and, occasionally abroad. Once they've joined they never really leave. The choir has been going since 1971 and some of the founder members still sing with us. We have been adding new members all along so there is a broad range of ages and welcome new singers. Have a read below to see if you might like to sing with us. In addition to our extensive repertoire of early music, we occasionally venture into the Baroque and beyond. We put on 2-5 orchestral masses a year and have talented organists for accompanied music (as well as showing off their skills at the end of the services).
