The Harvard Microrobotics Lab focuses on mechanics, materials, design, and manufacturing for novel robots. This includes robotics at unique size scales (microrobots) and robots that depart from conventional rigid materials (soft robotics). Examples of our work include robotic insects (e.g. the "RoboBee" and "HAMR"), squishy soft-bodied grippers ("Squishy Robot Fingers"), and wearable robots.
