Hello! Welcome to my gardening channel. My name is Sheree and I have a PhD in inorganic chemistry. While in graduate school at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I was faced with a health issue that my doctor told me was likely related to food. That was the beginning of my quest to study food and what I was consuming. After graduating and getting married, I started teaching myself to cook. We joined a local CSA program and that sparked my interest in growing my own food. It took me decades to get to the right property and have enough time to garden how I wanted to, trying to replace the grocery store. In 2019, I started planning my new garden and in spring of 2020, my husband and son built my first garden beds. I grew pretty much everything from seed. And haven’t looked back! I now garden year round (for the last 3years) growing food indoors during the cold months.
