Australian Citizens Party

The Citizens Party (formerly the Citizens Electoral Council - CEC) is an independent political party leading the fight for Australia to return to the banking & economic development policies that will grow our productive economy & secure the future well-being for all Australians. The CEC was established in 1988 in Queensland & changed name to the Australian Citizens Party at the end of 2019.

The Citizens Party's policy program addresses the reality that a new financial crisis is inevitable. By any measure, the Australian & global financial systems are in worse condition today than at the time of the 2008 global financial crisis, especially in terms of what caused the last crisis—unpayable debt.

For over 30 years the CEC/Citizens Party has fought as an independent party for the principles of the common good & national sovereignty, in economic and foreign policy, which are needed today.
