For over 100 years, Scouting has shaped future leaders through a blend of educational activities, lifelong values, and outdoor adventure. The Central NC Council is dedicated to enriching our communities by serving thousands of youth across seven counties: Anson, Cabarrus, Montgomery, Rowan, Richmond, Union, and Stanly. Our council is divided into three districts—Gold Rush, Old Hickory, and Uwharrie—each hosting local Scouting units like Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Exploring Posts. These units are chartered by local schools, religious organizations, or community centers.
