Cooking With Brenda Gantt
A few millennials in my church kept asking me how to make "this" and how to make "that." I am an old time, traditional southern cook... I rarely follow a recipe... cooking is a feel, not a description. When the belly 'feels' full you know the cooking was good! I put those young folks off a time or two, and one day I finally decided I'd show them how to make homemade biscuits. I filmed with one hand and cooked with the other, and uploaded that biscuits video to my personal Facebook page. Would you believe that a few weeks later the video had over 1 million views. Shortly after that, Covid struck and folks who normally had access to restaurants, found themselves with few options of places to eat. So, I started my "Cooking with Brenda Gantt" Facebook page with hope that those folks and many others would learn not only how simple cooking can be, but also that they would experience the joy that comes from the kitchen and the table!
