Rythem Bansal
Rythem Bansal is a professional pianist, composer and educator based in New Delhi, India. He has been a recipient of merit-based scholarships from prestigious Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) for the Five-Week Summer Program; Delhi School of Music, Global Music Institute and Korean Cultural Centre. Although started with self-teaching, he later studied piano from John Raphael and completed Grade 8 in Piano with merit. Drawn to Jazz and Improvisational music, he also took lessons from his high school senior - Utsav Lal (USA) and Jacob Damelin (Canada). He had won numerous music competitions during his time in high school. Apart from the solo performances and session work, he is currently working with the Delhi based band The Revisit Project and leads his own group called Capital Three. Other associations include Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, The Copycats, BollyJazz, Vasundhara Vee, Lucia, etc.
