VIBEKE STENE and ASGEIR MICKELSON's new doom metal band, VEIL OF SECRETS, release their debut album “Dead Poetry” on November 30th.

MICKELSON has handled guitars, drums, and bass, SAREETA (Ram-Zet, ex-Ásmegin) played violins, and ERLING MALM (Articulus, Endolith) handled grim vocals.

“I’ve taken the chance to believe that my words, thoughts and dreams could have any value combined with my inner tones. The composing process of “Dead Poetry” with Asgeir, was deeply founded on honesty and trust, and thus I’m very proud to finally share Veil of Secrets.”

ASGEIR MICKELSON (ex-Borknagar, Sarke, Ihsahn):
“Most people know me as a drummer, but I started originally out as a guitarist. To me, there are only two real doom metal albums, which are the Candlemass classics “Epicus...” and “Nightfall”, so that style is my starting point when writing slow-paced metal – meaning guitar-driven songs with somber melodies.”
