Coach Dana and Coach Kurt are the head coaches for Special Olympics New York's Manhattan Powerlifting team. We wanted to find a way to help Special Olympics athletes (and their caregivers!) stay strong and in great shape outside of our powerlifting practices. On this channel, we created videos of simple exercises that athletes and caregivers can do anywhere. A great workout includes upper body exercises, lower body exercises, and aerobic activity and we've created videos for each that can be combined. All of the videos demonstrate both an easier and a more challenging version of the exercise and include a challenge. We'll keep adding new exercises frequently. Have fun!
