Xtant Audio started in 2010 with the initial aim of working with sample library developers to help them build awesome instruments for Kontakt. In 2012 we released our first in-house product, Enigma Curious Percussion, and since that time we’ve continued to expand our own range of sample libraries. We believe in detailed sampling, efficient scripting, and high playability so that you spend less time setting up the instruments and more time using them.
Our goal is to create sample libraries that work and sound good straight out of the (virtual) box. Our instruments are intended to be performed and we try to make them easily playable, without the need to tweak hundreds of parameters.
Rather than trying to capture the performance of an individual musician we aim to create virtual reproductions of musical instruments that you can perform yourself. To do this we use structured sampling, combining traditional multi-sampling with a variety synthesis techniques.
